How to deal best with circumstances

This quote deserves our attention. Coaching basketball can be a difficult, stressful job. The good news is that we have control over a few things, one of them being our decision to respond to circumstances. Whether they are from inside of us or external, it's how we see difficult circumstances in our way. The essence of this quote is to look not at the pain of the situation, but the results possible when we are resolved to make good from difficult.

“People are always blaming their circumstances for what they are. I don't believe in circumstances. The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and if they can't find them, make them.”

― George Bernard Shaw
